We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Par Fund / Projects Assistant Manager in the insurance industry. This role is based in Singapore and offers a competitive salary of SGD 96,000 per year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing participating fund-related projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting financial reporting and valuation processes. Key responsibilities include analysing fund performance, preparing actuarial reports, and assisting in experience studies and profit testing. Additionally, the role involves working closely with internal stakeholders such as finance, risk, and investment teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects and the effective management of the participating fund.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field. Progress towards actuarial qualifications from a recognised professional body is highly desirable. A strong understanding of participating fund management, actuarial valuation, and financial reporting standards is essential. Prior experience in the insurance industry, particularly in a life insurance or actuarial capacity, is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial and actuarial data effectively. Proficiency in actuarial software and Microsoft Excel is required, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
