My client is an applied artificial intelligence company that uses digital alternative data to create personalized, AI-driven risk scoring models, enabling businesses to automate and enhance their underwriting and insurance processes.
They are on a mission to revolutionize the insurance industry and they are looking for a Principal Actuary to drive actuarial innovation.
This is a remote position open to candidates based within SEA.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the development and validation of advanced actuarial models to support their products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data science, product, sales) to translate business needs into actionable insights
- Engage with clients, particularly in Asia, leading workshops and delivering tailored solutions.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- At least 5 years of actuarial experience (Life & Health), with strong client-facing skills.
- Experience in international markets, especially Asia, and familiarity with model validation.
- Proficiency in Excel, R, or Python; familiarity with machine learning is a plus
