Global Financial Group is positively expanding operations in Singapore and looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join their global support team.
The Application Support team is responsible for providing technical support for all front to back trade applications including trade capture, market data, settlement and clearing systems. The team handle all support requests and BAU business continuity to ensure the highest quality delivery of services to end users and clients.
- Ideally 8+ Years experience within an Application Support capacity
- Solid background in Windows, Linux/Unix OS, including SQL and Oracle database
- Experience gained in a financial services background, ideally banking
- Experience with ITIL and change management processes
- General front-to-back knowledge of the flow for trading/clearing/operational process
- Provide Application Level 3 Support for Front-to-Back Applications.
- Source code analysis to resolve issues.
- Familiar with creating Perl / Python / PowerShell / Shell / SQL scripts as well as Autosys batch jobs for automation of processes.
- Used to handling blackout/production incidents and able to bring back to normal operations asap.
- Running Batch Jobs in UAT and SIT and reviewing the test results.
- Experience in Exchange and Vendor management
- Knowledge of server-side infrastructure and admin tools for vendor applications
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, including support experience desirable but not prerequisite.
- Experience in technical onboarding of new APIs and systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or technology field preferred
