Our client is a leader in the insurance sector, managing large-scale Group and Life Insurance systems. As part of their IT team, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing and supporting the Group 400 system.
With years of industry experience, the team is responsible for a range of key processes, from program developments to system integration testing. As a Group 400 Developer, you will be part of a dedicated team working on critical system enhancements and ensuring seamless functionality.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Program enhancements and developments for the Group 400 system
* Coordinating with other IT sections and teams
* Collaborating with the Web Application Team for inter-related projects
* Conducting system analysis, design, and unit/integration testing
* Preparing/updating technical documentation and end-user job instructions
* Engaging with external partners for system collaboration and testing
* Maintaining KPIs, work instructions, security, and governance compliance
* Delivering high-quality results in both coding and documentation
Your necessary skillsets:
* A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Group 400 (AS400)
* Familiarity with financial reporting projects like IFRS
* Strong coding and documentation skills
* Ability to manage time effectively on various projects
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
