Senior Data Engineer
A leading Consultancy firm in London, is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the team for an opportunity which offers a three-month initial contract falling Outside IR35. This role is allowing for a flexible hybrid work model that only requires two days per week in central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build ETL Pipelines, Data warehouses and Data lakes using AWS Cloud Technologies.
- Process large volumes of structured and unstructured data, including integrating data from multiple sources.
- Establish ingestion and curation functions for AWS cloud based data using AWS native or custom programming.
Requirements:
- Expert scripting experience using languages such as Python and SQL
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies specifically for data engineering purposes.
- Proven ability to process large volumes of data, structured and unstructured.
- Strong experience with AWS Glue
- Good knowledge of working with DBT
- Prior commercial experience working with snowflake will be benefitial
- Experience integrating data from varied sources.
