Responsibilities:
- Perform product pricing and in-depth financial analysis
- Drive pricing decisions and support risk management recommendations
- Present pricing recommendations to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
- Refine pricing methodologies and analysis where necessary
- Support and provide input to the Product team on product design and initiatives
- Facilitate internal discussion with product managers, pricing/valuation team and marketing team from pricing viewpoint
- Support product approval process and discussions with Corporate / Regional and Regulator
- Liaise with the Sales and Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Risk Management teams
- Assist in the annual planning and budgeting cycle
- Support new product implementation including system development and sales illustration testing
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in an actuarial role, specifically within Life Pricing
- Thorough understanding of actuarial sciences and its principles
- Proficiency in risk management and financial forecasting
- Advanced analytical skills and ability to manage large data sets
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial data in clear, concise manner
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
- Related certification, such as Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA), is required
